Families need to have the discussion about organ donation, before it's too late.
That's the mesage from Laois' Sarah McEvoy, whose brother Kevin passed away last Septemer, is calling on people to be aware of organ donation.
Mr. McEvoy had been waiting on a heart transplant list.
Organ Donor Awareness Week 2024 starts this weekend and is organised by the Irish Kidney Association in association with the HSE's Organ Donation Transplant Ireland.
