Historic Offaly Gastropub Hits Market For Under €500k

Hennessy’s in Ferbane, is a seven-day licensed premises.

A 160-year-old thatched Offaly gastropub is on the market for just under half a million euro. 

Hennessy’s in Ferbane, is a seven-day licensed premises, features a traditional bar and dining area with seating for 70, a commercial kitchen and an enclosed beer garden.

The property also includes a four-bedroom residential living space, with the entire site measuring about 439 sq.m on 0.69 acres.

The pub has been owned by its current proprietors for the past 10 years. 

Earlier this year, it was named Best Gastro Pub in Offaly at the 2026 Irish Restaurant Awards.
