The DNG National Price Gauge indicates prices are rising fastest in Mid-West.
The Midlands remains one of the cheapest regions in Ireland in which to buy a house.
DNG analysis shows the average price of a home there is €237,000, the lowest in the country is the Border region at €228,000.
While house price growth is steepest in the Mid-West at 8.5%, followed by the Mid-East at 7.5%, with Dublin prices increasing 6.4% in the last year.
The cost of a home in the midlands increased by 6.1% over the same period.
