The Housing Minister is denying claims he tried to bury news about housing to avoid scrutiny.
The Government revealed details of their Housing for All policy on the same day Ryan Tubridy appeared before Oireachtas Committees.
That report highlighted varied progress on the number of homes completed in the first quarter of this year in the midlands, when compared to the same period last year.
Westmeath and Offaly saw significant drops, at 19% and 24% respectively, while Laois saw an increase of just under 50%.
Sinn Fein says the Coalition was desperate that people didn't pay attention to their policies.
