HSE Rejects Plans For New Primary Care Centre In Offaly

A local TD says it's a contradiction of the government's Sláinte Care policy.

The HSE has rejected a request to set up a new primary care centre in the midlands. 

The proposed facility was to be built on the rectory site in Birr. 

Laois-Offaly TD Carol Nolan says the area is suffering from a shortage of healthcare services and the centre would help attract GPs to the area:
