The Education Department is yet to make a move to resolve its dispute with primary school secretaries ahead of impending strike action at the end of the month.
That's the warning from trade union, Forsa after its members voted 98% in favour of industrial action in a ballot earlier in the summer.
They're calling for full public sector worker status which would bring with it access to State pensions and other entitlements.
An indefinite strike is due to go ahead on the 28th of August with a demonstration outside the Department of Expenditure planned for the same date.
