It's part of the second day of an indefinite strike for pension rights.
"It's not a wildcat last minute action"- that's the view of a Midlands school secretary, as they enter their second day of strike.
A regional protest has been held outside the Department of Education in Athlone today, with a close to a thousand secretaries and caretakers demanding equal pension rights.
It follows a protest outside the Dail yesterday with school picket lines planned for Monday.

Orla Greaney has been a secretary in Gort Community School for over 20 years and is left without pension rights in comparison to some of her co-workers.
