They're calling on it to be paid ahead of the upcoming Budget.
The Irish Farmers Association wants to see the Government pay the remaining €60 million of the Fuel Income Support Scheme ahead of the budget.
Laois IFA Chair Henry Burns says only €27 million out of the total funds of €87 million was drawn upon for the scheme, and needs to be paid urgently to farmers.
It comes after the Irish Road Haulage Association President Ger Hyland this week warned of potential desperate consequences if the cost of fuel isn't addressed for hauliers.
