The family of a midlands woman who's been missing for nearly 30 years, say they've met with Gardaí to formally request the investigation be upgraded to a murder inquiry.
Mountmellick's Imelda Keenan was last seen on January 3rd, 1994 after leaving her flat on William Street in the city.
She was 22 at the time she went missing, and was last seen crossing the road at the corner of the Tower Hotel and Lombard Street in Waterford, after informing her boyfriend she was going to the post office.
Her family believe someone who knew Imelda was hurting her in the lead-up to her disappearance.
