A Laois town could greatly benefit from installing facilities for motorhomes, according to a local councillor.
Independent representative in Portlaoise Tommy Mulligan is making the call due to the town's location with a number of campervans and motorhomes passing through.
There is currently no adequate place for a motorhome to park up in Portlaoise.
Councillor Mullingan says the proposal could work well in conjunction with the Slieve Bloom sinage project:
