The 17th International Dementia Conference is taking place today and tomorrow in the Midlands.
The charity Engaging Dementia provides training for professional caregivers, and is hosting the conference open to family carers, people with dementia, and community workers.
This year's event in the Athlone Springs Hotel will cover a wide range of dementia-related topics, including Innovations in brain health, disease modifying therapies and the creative arts in dementia care and wellbeing.
