Ketamine has seen a rapid rise since last year.
Synthetic drug use is slowly becoming more common in Ireland.
The Health Research Board's yearly report for 2025 states that while numbers for HHC remain small, at 256 cases, it's the largest year-on-year growth so far at a recorded 50%.
Ketamine is also seeing a rise, with 334 cases reported last year, a 12% rise since 2017.
