Irish Cancer Society Calls For Support On Daffodil Day

One Laois singer is making a superb gesture through her new single.

The Irish Cancer Society is calling for support, on what it says is the 'most important Daffodil Day ever.'

It says revenues are down over 2 million due to the pandemic, as in person events are suspended due to restrictions.

Funds raised online and by phone today will go towards thousands of hours of counselling and night time palliative care along with other supports for patients.

Mountmellick singer Emer Dunne is releasing her new single Daisy today and donating the proceeds to the cause.
