The charity is offering the chance to learn about training a puppy to be a guide dog.
The opportunity to learn more about raising a puppy to be a guide dog, and even training one, will be on offer in the midlands this weekend.
The Midlands Branch of Irish Guide Dogs For the Blind will be hosting an information event tomorrow with an aim to recruiting puppy raisers.
It will outline the responsibilities and benefits of volunteering to take on a puppy in guide dog training.
The event will take place in the Golden Island Shopping Centre in Athlone from 10am to 6pm on Saturday.
