The company - which manufactures ambulances - says it was prepared from Brexit and is now trying to establish the root cause of the issue, to ensure it doesn't happen again.
In the meantime, staff are being laid off for a maximum of three weeks.
Derek Casserly from SIPTU says the workers are being given three options regarding pay:
