A jobs fair to support couriers facing job losses is taking place in Laois tomorrow.
The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is hosting a driver connect open day to provide help to drivers who've been affected by the Fastway receivership.
CILT Ireland is organising the free fast-track recruitment day to connect drivers directly with logistics employers currently hiring, with as many as 200 jobs associated with the Fastway Portarlington operation projected to be cut.
The event takes place at the Maldron Hotel in Portlaoise tomorrow from 10am to 3pm.
