Laois "Behind" In Disability Access - Advocate

Karen Chadwick is a deaf person with disabilities.

Laois is not progressive towards disability access and it's not right or fair.

That's according to Portlaoise's Karen Chadwick, who is a deaf person with disabilities, and believes the county is behind when it comes to accessibility.

Around 13% of people living in Laois have a disability, which amounts to around 12,000.

Ms. Chadwick has been speaking with Midlands Today's Will Faulkner and says solutions need to be put in place:
