Laois Community To Challenge Approval Of Two IPAS Centres

A meeting was held last night discussing the appeal.

A Laois community is planning to appeal against two proposed IPAS centres for their area.

Applicant Marc Lennon is looking to convert both Peadar's and Lennon's Bar on Durrow's Mary Street.

Laois County Council is approving planning permission for both subject to 15 conditions, despite hundreds of local objections including from Councillors and TDs.

A public meeting held by Durrow Community Council in the Castle Arms Hotel was attended by around 400 residents last night
