A Laois couple have built a beach resort in the only double land-locked county in Ireland.
Iveta Melgaile and Pat Bowe came up with the idea for The Pond Beach Resort in Clonmeen during the Covid Pandemic, and have now been open for a year.
They offer two cabins overlooking the water, as well as a diner, a sports area and even hosts exotic fish.
