Laois GAA Club Bans E-Scooters And E-Bikes From Club Grounds

A Laois GAA club is banning the use of E-scooter and E-bikes from its grounds.

Graiguecullen GAA says it wants to educate its younger members on the dangers of the devices which have been the focus of much concern after a large number of injuries and incidents in recent years.

A 24 year old man was rushed to hospital this week after falling from an E-Scooter on the Castlecomer Road in Graiguecullen, just a week on from the death of a midlands teenager who fell from another scooter in Carlow Town.

The club's County Committee Delegate, Paul Dargan says something has to be done:
