It's the 4th time the O'Moore County has won the title.
A Laois man has been crowned the 16th Mr Personality at Mr Personality Festival 2023.
Mountmellick's Andrew Dunne is the 4th Laois man to win the title in 16 years.
The annual Mr. Personality Festival 2023 took place in the Talbot Hotel on the 14th and 15th of April in Clonmel, Tipperary.
The festival was hosted by Kilkenny Macra and was sponsored by Kilkenny/Carlow and District Farm Relief Services.
23 contestants travelled from across the country to Clonmel for the event.
On Friday evening, during his interview on stage he entertained the audience with a story about his most embarrassing moment.
He sang ‘Mockingbird Hill’ for the judges.
He also impressed the judges during his private interview.
He completed the ‘Mr Personality Bootcamp’ run by Kilkenny Macra members, which involves wheelbarrow races, an obstacle course, and other team building exercises.
Judges for the weekend were Siobhán Woods, Liam Comerford and Barry Murphy.
The result was announced at 12 midnight on Saturday night after a Banquet Dinner Dance.
In second place was James Cassidy from Ballincollig Macra (Seandún) and third place was Paul Gill from Longwood/Killyon (Meath).
Andrew was presented with €500 cheque, a perpetual cup and glass trophy.
James Cassidy received a glass trophy and a cheque for €300 and Paul Gill received a glass trophy and cheque for €200.
