A driver, arrested for road traffic offences in Laois, has appeared in court.
They were stopped by gardaí on covid-19 patrols in the Portlaoise area late last night.
A false name was given but gardaí established the driver's true identity, along with the fact they're serving a six year disqualification from driving.
The vehicle was seized and the individual remained in custody overnight.
