Youth Work Ireland Laois is receiving the funding under Phase Two of the government's LGBTI+ Capacity Building Initiative.
It'll be used for training, mentoring and the development policies - to create a safer, more supportive and inclusive environment for young people.
Overall, 280 thousand euro is being granted in Phase Two of the scheme, to 26 national and regional groups.
