A Laois-owned retailer has been ranked second best for customer satisfaction in Ireland this year.
The annual CX Company survey shows Shaws Department Stores - which has three outlets in the midlands - has jumped 14 places and is now second only to the Irish Credit Union.
An Post, Specsavers and Allcare Pharmacies complete the top five.
Meanwhile, online order and food delivery companies, including Amazon and Just Eat, tumbled down the rankings.

The likes of Oxendales, Amazon, Just Eat and Deliveroo tumbled down the rankings.
Telecoms companies like Eir and Vodafone, and transport companies like Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Bus Éireann were among those that performed poorly in the study.
