Parents are angry there are eight seats that haven't been used since the start of the school term.
A public meeting is being held as children in Laois are still without a place on a school bus.
Five pupils in the Vicarstown, Emo and the Rock were not allocated seats.
Parents says there are currently eight empty places on the bus route to Portlaoise Schools.
They say Bus Eireann have been informed and assured one parent on September 1st that an Inspector would review route but after three weeks there has been no response or sight of a resolution or of the inspection.
The public meeting being held with parents, local representatives in the old school Emo on Friday 16th September at 8.30pm.
