The latest .IE Domain Profile Report shows 1,108 new websites have been created in the midlands since January - 314 in Offaly, 389 in Westmeath, and 405 in Laois.
It's been the best first half-year period on record, with a total of 33,815 new .ie domains registered in Ireland.
The top keywords included in the web addresses included 'pool', 'barbecue' and 'tent'.
