Sites like Clonmacnoise and Emo Court are included in the scheme.
The Office of Public Works is set to make entry free to all its sites for kids under the age of 18 next month.
Clonmacnoise in Offaly, Emo Court in Laois, and Fore Abbey in Westmeath are just some of the eligible sites across the region.
Other sites include Kildare's Castletown House and Mayo's Céide Fields,
