Laois Services 'Centralised' To One Major Town

That's the view of a Local Election Candidate in the county.

The State is being accused of centralising Laois services to one major town.

Local Election Candidate in Graiguecullen and Portarlington, Aaron Kelly, believes there's an imbalance of services being directed to Portlaoise.

He wants to see mental health initiatives and community welfare officers established in other towns, like Graiguecullen and Ballylinan.

The Sinn Féin rep says every town and village in the county should be self-sustainable:
