Laois TD Says New Law Will Not Affect Local Voluntary Bingos

There will be no limit on the percentage of prizes.

A Laois TD says bingo run voluntarily, who pay less than €5,000 in prizes per week will contiune if they get a Garda premit.

Fianna Fáil's Sean Fleming says there is no limit on the percentage of prizes.

He believes the Minister is creating a problem by confusing small bingos with permits with large bingos that require a court licence.
