Violent scenes broke out at a Portlaoise Cemetery on Sunday.
Laois Traveller Action Group is condemning the violence that took place during a cemetery Mass in Laois on Sunday.
This comes after Garda public order units were deployed to the annual "blessing of the graves" at St Peter and Paul's Cemetery on the Stradbally Road in Portlaoise on Sunday after violence erupted during the event.
The incident involved as many as 50 people, in which knives were reportedly used, leaving two people injured.
LTAG management says its willing to meet members of the Portlaoise Cemetery Committee and offer support for mass celebrations going forward.
