Local Enterprise Office Westmeath is encouraging businesses to take action with the new EU-US tariff agreement set to come into effect.
A 15% tariff on most EU exports into the US is set to be imposed on August 1st, the Local Enterprise Office is asking businesses who feel they may be affected in any way, to contact them.
In order to cut costs wherever possible, enterprise offices across the country say they'll assist clients in navigating the new customs agreement and pricing strategies, evaluating new markets, and assisting with tariff classification and origin planning.
