LISTEN: Tullamore Suggested As Possible 'Test Town' For New Gender-Based Violence Strategy

The local rotary club is encouraging organisations to get involved in their new survey.

It's being suggested Tullamore could pilot some of the government's new services and supports on gender-based violence.

The Justice Minster has committed to putting together a new strategy on domestic, sexual and gender-based violence, a draft of which has already been published.

Tullamore and District Rotary Club is currently surveying people and organisations around the town, to get their thoughts on the issue.

You can listen back to club members Ronan Berry, Frank Kelly and Vivienne Clarke explaining the initiative to Will Faulkner on Midlands Today here:
