New studies are showing prisoners are less likely to reoffend when enrolled in education.
Educational programmes for prisoners can be a complete game changer in terms of getting their lives back on track.
That's according to Laois and Offaly Education Training Board as new research shows these programmes means prisoners are less likely to reoffend.
That's despite the CSO showing half of prisoners released in 2019 reoffended within three years.
