The development is located at Saunders Bridge in Mullingar.
Planning permission is being granted for a major residential scheme in Westmeath.
The approved development includes 93 residential units and a childcare facility on a 4.48-hectare site at Saunders Bridge, Ardmore Road in Mullingar.
Plans will also consist of 81 two-storey houses together with a single apartment block providing 12 two-bedroom units.
The proposed housing mix comprises five three-bedroom mid-terrace houses, 54 three-bedroom semi-detached homes, and 22 four-bedroom semi-detached dwellings.
The scheme also provides for a purpose-built crèche extending to approximately 242 square metres, in addition to 184 car parking spaces and 220 cycle parking spaces.
Westmeath County Council granted permission subject to 24 conditions.
