A man has been arrested after a high-speed chase with gardaí travelling at over 210 kilometres an hour.
At around 9.30pm on Wednesday night, officers detected a car travelling at 183 kilometres an hour on the M7 at Birdhill in Co Tipperary.
A pursuit then began and it went on for 65 kilometres, before the car was eventually stopped in Borris-In-Ossory in Co Laois.
The driver, aged in his late teens, was arrested and charged.
