A man, arrested as part of a cross border, terrorism-related investigation, has been released without charge.
The man in his 30s was arrested in Laois on Wednesday and questioned at a Garda station in the midlands.
He was the third man to be detained as part of the investigation.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
