A man charged with the murder of his father in Westmeath has been remanded in custody until next year.
28-year-old Ross O'Rourke, of no fixed abode, appeared before Judge Bernadette Owens at Mullingar District Court yesterday.
The body of Belgium-born Stefan Nivelles Posschier was discovered at his home in Rattin on October 25th.
Mr O'Rourke is due to reappear on January 5th at Mullingar District Court.
