A man has died after an accident at a Laois golf course this morning.
Gardaí were called to Mountrath Golf Course at about 9 o'clock, after a man - aged in his 60s - was injured during an incident involving a mower.
He was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital Portaloise, where he was later pronounced dead.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified and will be investigating the matter.
