Gardai and Emergency Services attended the scene of the crash on the L2025 road in Toberleheen in Ballinagar shortly before nine o'clock on Saturday which involved a multi purpose vehicle.
The man, in his 40's was brought to Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.
