Met Eireann Issue Low Temperature And Ice Warning For Midlands

It comes into effect from 6 pm tomorrow evening.

Temperatures are expected to drop to as low as minus four degrees in the Midlands, with a number of status yellow warnings issued.

A low temperature and ice warning will impact Laois, Offaly and Westmeath from 6 o'clock tomorrow evening until 11 on Sunday morning.

Donegal will be subject to a snow and ice alert from 8pm today until 11am tomorrow - and again from 6pm tomorrow until 11am on Sunday, along with Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Connacht.

Met Éireann is warning of hazardous travelling conditions and poor visibility.
