Get lost in a good book - that's the message to Midlands bookworms for this year's 'Ireland Reads Day' taking place tomorrow.
Events are taking place in local libraries across the region.
Portlaoise library are hosting a conversation for Laois readers between authors Amanda Cassidy and Andrea Mara at 3pm.
While in Westmeath, illustrator and author Terence Casey will carry out storytimes at Moate and Athlone library at 10:30 and 12 pm.
Dolores Keaveney will also do a reading of her books at Mullingar and Castlepollard libraries.
Offaly will have their event in Tullamore library on Tuesday evening at 6:30 where author Donal Ryan will hold a talk on his books.
