Midlands Being Overlooked In Terms Of Public Transport - Councillor

The Westmeath Councillor is calling on the Environment Minister to improve public transport in the region.

The Midlands is being overlooked and it's time we kicked up and demanded answers. 

That's according to Westmeath Councillor Denis Leonard, who's calling on the Environment Minister to improve public transport in the region. 

It comes as Mullingar ranked among the worst towns and cities in the world for traffic congestion, on the Global Traffic Scorecard.

The Labour rep is asking Westmeath County Council to do an audit to identify the gaps in public transport:
