They will also be supporting Irish Guide Dog Day.
A midlands boat club will be hosting a 5km and 10km fun run on the 28th May.
The event by Athlone Boat Club is being held to support Irish Guide Dog Day, along with raising funds to purchase an outdoor heated automated external defibrillator (AED) unit.
The walk/run will begin and end at the Bounty Rugby Club at 11am.
Registration will begin at 10am.
It will cost €10 per adult, €5 per child or €20 for a family.
There will be light refreshments available for all afterwards.
