Midlands Building Set To Be Demolished Identified As Site For New Car Park

The site has been marked with a Dangerous Building Order.

A derelict site marked with a Dangerous Building Order would make a suitable site for a new car park in the midlands.

That's according to Councillor Ken Smollen, who will suggest the former Ms. McManus' Drapery Shop on Bridge Street be developed into a car park following it's demolition.

The local authority are currently seeking a contractor to carry out the destruction of the site.

The Independent rep says people have nowhere to leave their vehicles:
