Roisin Molloy was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2025.
A Midlands cancer survivor is holding a fundraiser this weekend in support of the Irish Cancer Society's Pink Campaign.
Roisin Molloy, 28, from Ballinamere, was living in New Zealand last September when she noticed a lump in her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer two months later.
She underwent chemotherapy and a mastectomy, completing her active treatment in late September following radiotherapy.
On Cancer Awareness Month, the 28-year-old is encouraging young women to advocate for themselves of the Coffee Morning at Ballinamere Community Centre this Sunday from 10am-1pm.
She says sharing her story helped her build connections with others who had gone through a similar diagnosis:
