Men's Health Week kicks off across the Midlands today.
The international campaign aims to raise awareness of preventable health problems, and encourages healthier lifestyle choices in the run up to Father's Day on Sunday.
Healthy Laois and Laois Community Safety Partnership are offering events including a Men on the Move cycle in Portarlington's People Park.
While in Offaly, the programme includes a Farmers Breakfast in Kilcormac's Faithful Fields and fitness classes in Edenderry GAA, with donations going to Mental Health Ireland and Accessible Counselling Tullamore.
In Westmeath, St Kieran's Community Centre in Athlone is hosting a men's morning on Thursday from 11am.
