An inquiry is underway into the arson attack into McQuaid's Pharmacy in Oldcastle.
A Midlands community is in a state of shock following a suspected arson attack on a pharmacy.
An inquiry is being launched after a flammable liquid, believed to be petrol, was poured around the shop in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The store is adjoined with the former Oldcastle Court Hotel - the hotel owner’s request to use the property as an IPAS centre was refused last June.
No goods are believed to have been stolen from the pharmacy, which has been owned by Donna McQuaid for 20 years.
