Midlands Driving Instructor "Can Understand" Decision To Cancel Tests Due To Cold

Almost 500 driving tests were cancelled last week due to the cold weather.

One midlands driving instructor says he can understand the decision to cancel some driving tests for essential workers last week, because it was too cold.

Under covid protocol, windows are to be slightly rolled down to create natural ventilation in the car.

There's frustration at the move considering the backlog for tests is currently 25 weeks long.

But Michael Hogan, from Hogan's School of Motoring in Laois, says most of the anger lies with the poor communication from the RSA:
