Former Midlands Sports Star To Compete In 'The Apprentice'

He'll be looking to catch the eye of Lord Alan Sugar.

A former professional rugby player from Westmeath is set to dip his toe in the world of reality television. 

27-year-old Conor Gilsenan is among 16 contestants named to take part in the latest series of The Apprentice. 

The Mullingar man retired from sport due to a series of injuries in September 2020 and recently launched a new business venture alongside another former player in Topsy Ojo. 

He'll be hoping to catch the eye of Lord Alan Sugar during the BBC show which starts tomorrow night at 9 o'clock.
