The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors is holding its annual conference.

Middle-ranking Gardai are expressing concerns over the level of resignations and retirements from the force.

So far 109 officers have left - including 30 members of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors.

The AGSI is currently holding its annual conference in Killarney.

Sgt Orla Nolan, who is a member of the Laois/Offaly Branch of the AGSI, is raising concerns at the conference about 'citizen journalism':
